Membership

 Joining the IFR prospective members must meet the following requirements:

• It is our policy that any prospective member be halachically Jewish, either by birth or conversion by approved Jewish sources and methods.

• The applicant  has received a certificate of rabbinic ordination/semicha from a Jewish rabbinic institution/academy recognized by the IFR.

• Letters of sponsorship from two rabbis who did not participate in the prospective member’s ordination or two Jewish career professionals.
