  Testimonials from IFR members:

Shalom Rabbaniot/nim,

 I am IFR member Rabbi Monte Sugarman of Synagogue Without Walls-Or Chadash in Saratoga Springs, NY.  I was ordained by Rabbi Gelberman in 1999 and I was one of the original founding members of the IFR in 2001. I served on the Board for 2 years and I was the first membership chairperson. I attended 3 out of 4 of the conferences and I have always enjoyed them and benefited greatly from the learning and mutual support of other members.

To be in the presence of other rabbis who share so much in common spiritually and religiously is enhancing, enriching and empowering! Together we offer to each other support and validation of our common vision as IFR rabbis.  Some of my highlights at IFR conferences were the rabbinic workshops offered , davening together in the morning, eating meals together and playing my guitar and singing with others.

Rabbis,  please consider joining us next March 2009 in DelRay Beach, Florida for our 7th  IFR conference!

Kol tuv l'chem-Rabbi Monte Sugarman

Dear Chevrei IFR

I have had the good fortune of being able to attend all but one of the conferences and meetings of the IFR. What a joy they have been.

From the very first meeting, if only for the feeling of camaraderie, dayenu; If only for the wonderful times of praying together, dayenu;

If only for the very special lectures that gave each of us so much more to bring back to our congregations and practices, dayenu; If only for the chance to truly live our belief that we are all really accepting and respectful of each others’ practices, dayenu. If only for the joy of breaking bread together, dayenu.

I have found these conferences invigorating, fulfilling and meaningful. What I have learned from the presentations at each session has helped me grow in my quest to be a better rabbi.

I invite you all to be there in 2009 in Delray Beach.

I wouldn't miss it.

B' Shalom,
Rabbi Roger Ross
