The International Federation of Rabbis was formed in September 2000 as a non profit rabbinic organization

The mission statement of the IFR is to function as a practical resource for rabbis of all backgrounds who want and need a forum to examine and adapt to a changing Judaism in the 21st century. IFR members stay connected with their colleagues worldwide through a private list serve, online resource library, private facebook group, and newsletter published four times a year. Every week  several IFR members stream or zoom Kabbalat Shabbat services, and Torah portions are posted weekly on the IFR's Facebook page and other social media platforms.
